Houzz Feature!

We aren't the only ones that thought this sassy pink chaise was a good idea. Houzz chose Angie's project for their feature blog on decorating with antiques! Check out the article here

It's official. Red River Remodelers has been featured on Houzz and we are very excited about it!

Small Shreveport Kitchen Remodel - Complete!

We gave y'all a sneak peek a few blogs ago, but now we've got the finished product! Here is a little before action in our little Shreveport, LA kitchen:

BEFORE:

Now for the newly renovated space! Pretty awesome transformation, right?! We've got soapstone on the counter tops, Daltile Yacht Club in Sea Anchor on the floor, Interceramic Subway tile in Bright White on the back splash, and custom cabinets courtesy of Unlimited Cabinets in Longview, TX.

AFTER:

The cabinet hardware is the European style pull in a satin nickel finish.

We put in a Reinhard single bowl fireclay sink in white, with a Portnoy spring sprout faucet in brushed nickel. Check out the soapstone window sill!

The subway back splash is great for this little kitchen.

The walls have a coat of a custom grey, Kendall Charcoal by Benjamin Moore on the lower cabinets, and white on the upper cabinets.

Our lighting comes from Quorum, Destination Lighting, and Elite Fixtures.

The french doors got some love via new coat of paint!

We are super happy about how this adorable two toned kitchen turned out!

Shreveport Hall Bath Remodel - University

We have recently finished up a typical hallway bathroom in the University Terrace neighborhood of Shreveport, LA. Our homeowners chose a lovely Caledonia granite counter top from Barrett's Stone Gallery here in town, from there we selected tile and paint colors to pull it all together. The faucet is from Delta and we talked the owners into an updated retangular shaped under mount porcelain sink. Check out those painted cabinets! It's just enough to make this vanity feel current. The walls are Benjamin Moore Wickham Gray and the cabinet is Benjamin Moore Sabre Gray.

A wall was torn down, making this space feel twice as large. We threw down some porcelain tile on the shower walls and the floor, replaced the tub and bam. Done!

We are pretty happy with the way it turned out! I think the 6" x 24" rectangular floor tile is my favorite part. Love a linear look floor!

Minden, Louisiana Remodel

While Red River Remodelers has its home base in Shreveport, Louisiana, we will occasionally travel a bit for a project. This time work brought us to the lovely historic town of Minden! We changed up quite a bit with this one, demolishing the old kitchen, windows, doors, wood paneling and faux beams.

Here are a few before photos:

Check these after photos, courtesy of Alec Mccommon!

The galley style kitchen just so happens to be Ms. Angie's favorite style of kitchen. It's one of the more functional and user friendly designs. We put in CorkComfort planks in Flock Brunette. The counter tops are Cambria in Sussex from Barrett's Stone Gallery in Shreveport, LA. We have a Distinctive Series cook top from Dacor. We paired a sink from our friends at Elkay with a Delta Orleans faucet in Brilliant Stainless. Even threw in some custom Shiloh cabinet work from our buddies at WW Wood Products

This walk through pantry is wonderful. So much space for snacks!

The living room got some love, too. Check that fireplace!

The home owners wanted to zazz up the exterior as well. So great.
