We are excited to have Kadie Duncan, second year interior design student from Louisiana Tech join our team for the summer. Hopefully she'll master the skills of keeping Angie on task and Sean less grouchy! She's on week 4 so let's hear what she's been up to.
About Kadie
What's your dream job once you graduate? Doing hospitality design for restaurants, bars, and resorts. Being able to travel all over the world and work doing something I love at the same time.
What would you be doing this summer if you weren't working for us? Probably working at Brookshire's or Lowe's. :)
What have you learned since working at Red River Remodelers? One of the most interesting things I've learned is how big a role budget plays into making the decision to remodel and what a realistic budget range is.
How do you think working here will help you at school? I'm really having to learn better time management skills and how construction and design work together.
What's one thing you want to do before you leave? Go with Angie to meet a potential client and see the discussion with homeowners and the process of choosing a remodeling company.
Well that last part sounds boring to me, but we're happy to have her! Bet she's already gone to Lowe's more times since being here than every other time in her life combined.
