South Highlands Shreveport - Kitchen Remodel

Take a look at our latest traditional, transitional, and all around fabulous kitchen renovation!

If there is one thing this kitchen has a ton of, it's storage. And we love it. Cabinets and drawers are all over the place, providing much needed storage and organization for a busy family.

We put a ton of special little details into this kitchen remodel. Check out these diamond panels on the island.

Check this! There is even an outlet to charge up your cordless vacuum. Every broom closet needs to be like this broom closet.

These are super deep and divided drawers for storing wrapping paper. Or any other long skinny items you may have. But if you've got children, chances are they attend many birthday parties throughout the year. It's always good to be prepared! This is also great if you do at home printing and would prefer to roll up prints rather than keep them flat. Saving space left and right with this kitchen!

Extra, easily accessible pan storage right where you need it. This is so much easier than digging through a cluttered cabinet. You can see every clean pan you have.

We zazzed up the back splash with a pattern, Flapper Floral, rather than a color. It is adorable and made by Artistic Tile

One of our more unique details is this kitty cat panel cut out in the laundry room, right off the kitchen. What's this cabinet hiding? A litter box. There is no reason for it to be out in plain sight when it can easily be stowed away. And our kitty friends are happy to use their special entrance.

See! Lil Bub approves!

This pantry has a little counter space thanks to a piece of slate we saved from the homeowner's old mantel. Plus. Look at all those drawers and shelves! We were like the Oprah of storage with this renovation.

Another wonderful element to this kitchen is its lighting. A lot of older homes just don't provide task lighting in places they need to, like, say, the kitchen. The kitchen is the place we cut up vegetables with sharp knives, so the brighter it is, the better! We don't want anybody to be cutting their finger tips off because they couldn't see. That's just bad business.

Our good friends at House of Carpets on 70th Street always have something we like!

This little mud room is right off the kitchen and leads into the garage. Perfect spot for coats, bags, and shoes.

We had to include a new dining space! These floors are absolutely beautiful in the sunlight.

We even had the pleasure of creating an updated  power room in what was once the laundry room. We are a little in love with this Osborne and Little wallpaper.  Derwent, the pattern freatures Ornamental koi carp in a swirling pool, named after the forest and River Derwent in west Cumbria (formerly Cumberland).  The other show stopper in the room is the white "Porcupine Quill" mirror from Horchow.

This project is also on our Houzz! Check it out!
