Who knew some of my absolute favorite appliances were manufactured a state away?! Viking was born in Greenwood, Mississippi and is still there today. Fred Carl started his company to provide commercial cooking power to residential kitchens and we are pretty excited he did so. Not only does Viking provide an enormous variety of products, they also cater to the designer in us all.

Priced at around $8,299, these puppies are well worth it. This 36" 7 Series Gas Range comes in a variety of colors (Colbalt Blue and Burgundy shown) and is stacked with features including: Viking Elevation Burners, Digital Meat Thermometer, Reversible Grill/Griddle, SoftLit LED Lights, Gourmet-Glo Infrared Broiler (what!!!), VariSimmer Setting, and SureSpark Ignition System.
They don't stop there. Let's look at a refrigerator real quickly. Give me a minute here. I'm going to have to let this soak in. This 42" Side-by-Side Refrigerator/Freezer with Dispenser in Wasabi is a master work. It is as if the designers at Viking can see inside my 1970s heart. Coming in at around $11,799, I would say, "Yes! Throw me that fridge!"
